Korean movie - Architect 101

Cast of Architect 101 - Lorean movie
I watched this Korean movie - Architect 101 - on the journey to Paris. It was in Korean, but had English sub-titles.

The story line was quite meaningful and touching. It showed the depth of the talent in Korea. I learned how the Korean professor taught the class in architecture, and found his approach to be interesting.

The two Korean actresses were stunning. I did some research and found their names to be Han Ga In and Bae Suzy. There are extremely popular in Korea, based on the comments in Youtube. The young actor was also quite good looking.

This is the first time that I had watched a full movie in Korean. I now know why it is so popular.

Korea has made tremendous progress.
Korean dramas, Samsung handphones etc.

The blossoming of S. Korea began with the current 6th Republic (starting 1987), which also marks the blossoming of liberal democracy.

Stifle free speech and the use of the albatross round people's necks, ISA, you stifle creativity, and finally kill it altogether.
Singapore won't advance, just stagnate or be a copy to others, and nothing else.

I was never a keen Korean drama fan. But with the kind of shallow drama and unrealistic acting from Taiwan, HK and Singapore artist, I decided to make an effort to switch to watching a Korean drama and was surprised with the quality of their acting and refreshing script.

I am now a Korean drama fan. An elderly one at that!
