Minister K Shanmugan is spending time to talk to bloggers. That is a commendable effort, considering that he has to run two ministries, i.e. Law and Foreign Affairs.

Have an inkling Shanmugan knows very well what is ailing Singapore, but has his hands tied up somewhat, and has to toe the Party line for a public face.
If PAP is really serious about meritocracy, Shanmugan is more of PM material than any of others, irrespective of race, language or religion, for the sake of Singapore's future.
He stands head and shoulders above all the mediocrity, sculpted packaging and gold diggers with not much "liao" in them.
Talking about PAP only.
A mature democracy depends on its own people to rise up to the occasion in the event of a crisis.
The last time a western democracy turned to a "superman" for solutions.
I think his name was Adolf Hitler.
I think we all know how that story ended.
Ask not what Shanmugan can do for Singapore.
Ask only what you can do for Singapore.
Like someone else, I expect the other minister with two portfolio to be the one chatting up the particular blogger. Am referring to Mr Tharman the DPM.
